My favorite muse is myself, it’s always exciting to create a new character. I usually draw some sketches, and then take photos with the styling and makeup created for that theme. Inspired by nature and the physically impossible, I work on details and add elements from other photos I take. I like to visualize dreams and emotions through my looks. To create, I just need a camera, lighting, and myself. The rest is made in Photoshop. Who or what inspires you to create? Share your muse, whether it’s a beloved person, pet, place, or thing.

Thank you so much dear Flora.

Flora Borsi

Kashka, yes haha, I've been there ❤️ :D

Flora Borsi

Jess, aww! So cute. I'm an animal owner too and I know how they're like us. I love how innocent she/he looks at you, totally unguarded and chilled. I can imagine him/her turned into a photo/painting where it looks like as if a human was posing for the camera!

Flora Borsi

Nicki, I like how you symbolized the love for your kids and their limitless imagination. I can imagine how they'll look at this composite and feel like it's real! Like the added glow of the moon and the touch on the planets. Next time maybe you could try to turn them astronauts!

Flora Borsi

Jenny, I just love how you create based on your cat's decision. Very smart way to create a project from scratch. Sometimes the hardest part of a work is to decide where to go with it emotionally, and what message to convey, since we're exposed to a lot of feelings during life.

Flora Borsi

Lauren, did you buy the cat matching your blankets or vica versa? I like the expression of your cat's face!

Flora Borsi

Aerosoap, this is the best color-combination I saw here so far, how the moment has been captured is just awesome! It's very interesting how we're shielding ourselves from the harmless beauty, such as this soap bubble phenomenon. I like how plastic it became thanks to the setup.

Flora Borsi

Todd, your cat is adorable! I like how close you can get to your muse, it's very obvious how he/she trusts you to let you near.

Flora Borsi

Annamaria, thanks so much for uploading your piece. Loving the message here, ordinary can be perceived as something fashionable and special too, depending on styling. Like the melancholic atmosphere and the wide angle and the undersaturated tones, very poetic and dream-like!

Flora Borsi

Annie, thanks so much, means a lot to me!

Kashka

Flora, were you at my house or something? You described the day perfectly! Cozy blankets, tea snuggling with my baby :)

Annie Ali

Hi Flora, Thank you so much for your feedback. I forgot to mention it was a self portrait. It’s an honor to share my work with you, i’ve been following your work since ages... you’re such an inspiration to me ❤️

Flora Borsi

Kashka, your dog, Dori is just adorable. This composition gives me golden ratio vibes and I can also feel the cozy weekend with a cup of tea and a warm blanket with your doggo in it. Reminds me of a picture my mom had of her dog from the 80's. Love the documentary feeling too!

Flora Borsi

Allison, how beautiful this little creature is. I love your concept of taking pictures of creatures as they co-exist with us. It's important to cherish everything around us as they are. I like how natural this picture feels with the bird in its original status quo.. Beautiful!

Flora Borsi

Hi Peter, woah, this image is a complete 90 minutes long movie! I like the tribal feel and the enhancement with the color gradients. It gives an authentic vibe to this picture. The corns' composition just directs the viewer's attention straight to you. Love the movement!

Flora Borsi

Hi Szilvi, As far as I can tell your image is very serious and obviously about your attitude towards music. It's very interesting how visual story telling can be something, what can be heard through a picture. Thanks for joining us, I'd like to see more music related from you.

Flora Borsi

Hi Szabina, it's a great feeling to have yourself photographed in an artistic way isn't it? In my previous comments I've mentioned how powerful each feminine look are on those portraits and I have to tell the same to you! Your "gaze" is attracting the eyes. Like it.

Flora Borsi

Hi Annie, I like the vintage, pictorialism portrait feel and your model's powerful look into the distance. The orange and red tones give a painterly look, which I like so much. I would be curious of her other family members, how you'd portray them! Great!

Flora Borsi

Veronica, your portrait is so clean and pure. I love how you used a real person and left her details untouched, but slightly retouched her with the red tones. Loving the message, I'm a fan of conceptual images. Keep up the good work and can't wait to see more from you.

Flora Borsi

Ceri, I just saw your fairy image. I love that you created something playful and exciting out of a frightening and bad situation. I guess that's how an Artist can process a situation like this. Loving the colors and the expression too, it's cool!

Flora Borsi

Hi Jackson, Thanks for joining the conversation, I'm glad to see your portraits! The lightning on the candy image is very professional and high-quality, I like the cleanness and the retouching method! The close-up portrait is very suggestive & eye catchy! Nice play with textures!

Flora Borsi

Hi Ceri, I like how powerful and strong your portrait came out and I also like how you chose to have this image in monochrome. The composition is very eye-pleasing. I can see her story in her eyes, even though she's not looking into the camera. Great job!

ami

@floraborsiofficial These are incredible! I don't even know how you do this but its very powerful.

Ceri Wilkins

I have many different muses mainly in the form of my friends, I am particularly attracted to creative characters who can let me run wild with my photography. My main focus is using my art to help raise awareness for important matters such as mental health- my other muse is my dog

Flora Borsi

Hi Kashka, I love this atmosphere that the lights and the frog created! The exposure is brilliantly done, both the sky and the landscape is visible too! Well done!
